Math tutoring, elementary through AP.
Math compounds. A shaky elementary foundation makes pre-algebra harder, which makes algebra harder, which makes calculus a struggle. We meet students wherever they are and rebuild the missing pieces.
The students we tend to do best with.
Right for elementary students building number sense, middle schoolers in pre-algebra and Algebra 1, high schoolers in Algebra 2 through AP Calculus BC, and students preparing for the SAT or ACT math sections.
Four things every Math engagement includes.
Diagnostic first
The first session is a guided conversation and a few targeted problems. We come out with a clear map of what is solid and what needs reinforcement.
Concept then practice
Sessions split between teaching the concept (so it sticks) and working problems (so it moves into muscle memory).
Homework as a tool, not the goal
Your student's actual homework becomes the working material. We teach the concept, then apply it to the problems on the desk.
A real plan
Your tutor writes a short plan after the diagnostic. You see it. You can ask questions about it. We update it as the year evolves.
A plan you can read in a paragraph.
Math is the subject where weekly cadence matters most. Even a single missed week can leave a gap. We hold the same time slot every week and reschedule when needed instead of canceling.
